About Us

Mission Statement:

Founded in 2023, Cool Storytellers, a d/b/a of Garam Masala Studios, Inc., partners with Program Directors, Community Engagement Managers, and Education Leads at mid-to-large public-facing arts, cultural, and community organizations seeking customized, accessible paper collage workshops and residencies. Our non-therapeutic, facilitator-led experiences are designed to align with organizational goals while offering participants engagement, enrichment, and creative self-expression through hands-on storytelling.

Vision Statement:

Our vision is to become a leading provider of creative wellness programs designed for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, especially those from diverse and underserved communities. By offering non-therapeutic, inclusive, accessible, and culturally relevant arts programs, Nadia Shaik and her team at Cool Storytellers empower individuals to discover their potential, spark their imagination, and find healing through the creative process. 

We envision a future where every person feels seen, heard, and valued, and where creativity is recognized as a transformative force that enhances personal, mental, spiritual, emotional, and social well-being.

Through ongoing innovation and partnerships with culturally specific federal, state, corporate, commercial, and nonprofit organizations, along with music- and arts-based programs in Oregon and Southwest Washington, together, we build stronger, more connected communities through the transformative power of storytelling and the arts.
